Walletable is a money tracker for people who live in more than one currency. These pages explain what each part of the app does and how to set it up, with the names you actually see on screen.
The app has four tabs, and almost everything starts from one of them.
Debts — what you are owed and what you owe, by person. Under the list: Transactions, Wallets, Insights, Categories, People, Templates.
Wallets — your money. The total at the top is in your main currency; each wallet card has − for an expense and + for an income.
Expenses — where the money went, by category, over the period you pick.
Settings — main currency, balance visibility, backups, SMS parsing, account, reminders and language.
What is free and what needs Pro
Wallets, currencies, transfers, debts, SMS parsing, charts over a month, widgets, templates, reminders, backups and export are free, with no limit on the number of transactions. One shared wallet is free too.
Walletable Pro adds two things: analytics over periods longer than 31 days — quarters, years and custom ranges — and up to 5 shared wallets. Pro starts with a free month, then continues as a monthly or yearly subscription at the price your App Store shows before you confirm.
Questions
Which devices does Walletable run on?
iPhone and iPad, on iOS 17.5 and later. The app is built for the iPhone, which is where the widget, Siri and the SMS automation belong.
Does Walletable connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank connection and no screen asking for your banking login. You enter amounts yourself, or let the app create them from your bank's text messages — see expenses from bank SMS.
Where is my data kept?
On your iPhone. It leaves the device only in two cases you choose: a backup to your iCloud Drive, and a shared wallet, where the shared wallet's transactions sync through the cloud so the other person can see them.
What languages does the app speak?
Eight: English, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese and Serbian. Change it in Settings → Language. Support is answered in English and Russian.
